Sunday August 3rd

73.7kg

Had a lovely day today.

Breakfast

Long black w/ cold milk & a bacon & egg roll from Bunker.

Lunch

Bill & Tonys : grilled chicken w/ vegetables, some cordial, mostly water.

Dinner

Protein shake (powder, frozen berries & almond milk).

Snacks

2 Chia seed biscuits, 4 ginger thins, 1x home made hot chocolate (had about half).

Thursday 6 March 2014

Thursday March 6th

75.2kg . . . serves me right.

Breakfast

My 'A' smoothie. It really was all I felt like this morning, I was feeling a bit ick after such a massive dinner.

Lunch

I was starving at 11.30  . . . .not usually a good sign. We have (another) dinner tonight, so again I'm trying to keep my other meals light (it didn't work : see snacks).

Lunch today was one of my favourite comfort foods : sardines on toast. Good quality sardines on 2 slices of gluten free bread:

Dinner

Another dinner with friends, we were at Bistro Felix tonight. I had a Gruyere Souffle to start, pork for my main and profiteroles with ice cream for dessert. We drank 1 martini each, and shared 1 bottle of white wine between the 4 of us.

Snack

I had an egg & bacon sandwich around 3pm (1 egg & 1 rasher of bacon on 2 slices of gluten free bread).

Water

I had around 2 litres of water.

Wednesday 5 March 2014

Wednesday March 5th

I'm not sure if its the less than fantastic diet the last couple of days, but since Saturday I have not been sleeping well at all!

Still under 75kg though! 74.9kg, holding steady!

Breakfast

2 slices of my gluten free toast (also dairy free incidentally), 2 boiled eggs & half an avocado smashed through with some fresh parsley.

Lunch

I did the 12:30 'C' session at DK and got a really good score, I am definitely getting much, much better! I could feel my stomach gurgling for alot of it . . . I ate breakfast at 9:45am, perhaps too close to the session? Plus the avacado at breakfast was much richer than what I normally would eat.

Anyhoo, upshot was i skipped a proper lunch, and just had a handful of plain roasted almonds & 1 small green apple.

It was exactly what I felt like as I really wasn't hungry after the workout, and we have a dinner with friends tonight so I knew I had a big dinner coming my way shortly.

Dinner

Dinner was insane. I was still full the next day. The restaurant our friends chose was Hartsyard. It is 'American' style food, think slow cooked pulled pork & po boys. Nothing light. At all.

Didn't feel fantastic after.

I had 1 glass of white wine, and then the 4 of us shared 1 bottle of red.

Water

Around 1.5 litres of water

Tuesday 4 March 2014

Tuesday March 4th

Still 74.9kg! What would happen if I actually ate properly?

:-)

Breakfast

No surprises here . . . tried but true!

Lunch

We were running errands in town, and then I went to a friend's for afternoon tea. I had 1 beef sausage roll w/ a little bit of sauce, and a vanilla cupcake.

Dinner

Another Pat & Sticks ice-cream. The last one I swear! We were given a 4 pack by a friend, and after the 7pm 'A' session my appetite wasn't huge  . . . and I really wanted something sweet!

Snacks

None.

Water

Around 1 litre.

Monday March 3rd

Usually at this point in my cycle I become starving, and particularly craving carbs. That kicked in today in a big way.

74.9kg . . .staying under 75!

Breakfast

1 slice of Helgas gluten free soy & linseed w/ 2 boiled eggs & 2 grilled rashes of free range bacon.

Lunch

For whatever reason we didn't get lunch until quite late in the day & I was ravenous. We got burgers from grill'd (who use 100% grass fed free range beef), with lettuce, no sauce etc. I also had some chips.

Dinner

Again we had this very late (for a bunch of reasons). We each had a 'Pat & Sticks' ice-cream & half a glass of red wine. Impressive, no?

Snacks

None.

Water

1 litre.

Sunday March 2nd

74.4kg! Still! Yay!

Probably not a brilliant day food wise, but not catastrophically bad either . . . I hope!

Breakfast

I met a friend for breakfast and had 2 eggs & some spinach on sourdough, and a small skinny cap.

Lunch

More bloody yum cha! Seriously! But then when you are starving and greatly outnumbered by a house full of desperately hung over people you're not really in a position to argue (it was Pat's bucks last night, but it was a surprise. Alot of very sore heads this morning. Not mine though!)

So I had dumplings, spring rolls, some duck noodle thing, bbq pork buns and a few glasses of wine. I ate alot more than lunch yesterday . . . . by the time the troops finally roused their heads I was just so hungry!

Dinner

The hungover (them, not me) menu continued : dinner was pizza. I had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza.

Water

Around 1 litre.

Snacks

1 scoop of messina ice-cream.

Saturday 1 March 2014

Saturday March 1st

Still 74.4kg! Yay!

We did the Saturday session at DK. I did the blue level and found I had alot of time left at the end of each round. Will start adding some black levels in now I think.

Breakfast

After the 8am session, then walking the dogs it was going on for 10am by the time we got home. Plus I knew I was going to a hens for lunch, so I kept breakfast very light: one slice of gluten free toast with one boiled egg.

Lunch

I had a hens today. We went to a wonderful Chinese restaurant. I had:
  • 1 BBQ Pork Bun
  • 3 prawn dumplings
  • edamame
  • salt & pepper calamari
  • 3 glasses white wine
  • petit fours: 1 scone w/ cream & jam, 1 macaroon, 1 salted caramel cup (around the size of a 10c coin)
Dinner

I didn't have any dinner. I wasn't starving, and after going off-detox for lunch (though it wasn't a huge amount of food) I was keen to bring things back to order.

Water

Around 1.5 litres

Snacks

None.
